About Brooklyn Vintage Archive
Brooklyn Vintage Archive has been in the making for over 20 years—built from a lifelong love of fashion, design, and the stories clothes can tell. Founded by Brooklyn-born creative Fay Leshner, BVA is the culmination of a career that began at age 15, when Fay started working in the fashion industry as a model. She later earned a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris, and has spent over a decade working as a designer and stylist.
Over the years, Fay amassed a collection of rare, distinctive pieces—sourced through travel, discovery, and a few treasured hand-me-downs from her fashionable mother’s closet. At BVA, clothing is treated as a powerful communication tool: a way to shape narrative, signal identity, and express what can feel too abstract to put into words. Brooklyn Vintage Archive exists to give exceptional garments another life, and to share them with fellow lovers of design and individuality.
We’re still in the process of photographing and cataloging the full collection—so if you’re searching for something specific, please CONTACT US and let us know what you're looking for!
